Dr. Stella Nyanzi to appear in court today

Controversial  Makerere University Lecturer Dr. Stellah Nyanzi is today going to appear at Buganda Road court to Oppose the state's application of examining her sanity.

 Dr. Nyanzi was released on bail by chief magistrate James Ereemye in order for her to access her medical reports at home so that her lawyers can put up a spirited fight to oppose examining her sanity.

Prosecution still insists that the state is still interested in pursuing its application to have Nyanzi's sanity established saying there is evidence that she has a mental problem which she cannot manage on her own.


Nyanzi was charged with two offences of Cyber harassment when she posted statements on her Facebook page attacking the person of the president of Uganda.
