Okwi on verge of joining Simba

Emmanuel Okwi is on the verge of making a second stint with Tanzanian side Simba.

Okwi who signed a six months contract with SC Villa after he returned from Danish club SønderjyskE, has been in inspiring form, scoring ten goals.

However, SC Villa officials he denied that Okwi was moving to Simba.

"Okwi is still our player and we are planning to extend his contract so that he remains with us next year. But no club has written to us showing that they interested in the player. Even the player himself has not approached us about the matter," an official stated.

Okwi's contract with Danish club SønderjyskE terminated by mutual agreement.
