Trubish who also serves as team manager at Hot Pool club Ntinda has promised to bring in a few changes if he is elected chairman of PAU.

With the Pool Association election only a couple of weeks away, Bob Trubish has emerged as one of the three candidates vying for the top
office in the pool body.

He is one of a three candidates likely be elected leader of the association on May 8. Others are Kakuru Byensi and Umaru Lutaaya.

Trubish who also serves as team manager at Hot Pool club Ntinda has promised to bring in a few changes if he is elected chairman of PAU.

"If I am elected I want to look into the sponsorship. Right now the association has only one sponsor, Nile Breweries for the National
Open; the senior league, the ladies league and the second tier league don't have any form of sponsorship," he said.

He also wants to see an improvement in the officiating and the number of regions that are involved in pool.

"At the moment we have a number of umpires who officiate games well but at times the quality is not always there," Trubish said.

He also is thinking of broadening the sport by widening its reach.
