The alarming rate of hunger in Teso has forced some parents to send their school-going children to labor for food.

This has been witnessed in Ongino sub-county in Kumi district where some parents have stopped school going children from going to school in the name of helping the parents do labor.

Charles Aisu the LC3 of Ongino says his office has received such complaints and his office is embarking on hunting such parents so that they are brought to book.

Aisu warns that any parent who will be arrested shall be subjected to a fine of twenty thousand per child found home as their bylaws stipulate.
