Musinga divorce case adjourned

Embattled Kampala Metropolitan Traffic Police Commander Norman Musinga's divorce case of has been adjourned.

This after the magistrate in charge of the divorce case number 24 of 2016, went on leave. The matter has been adjourned to April 20.

"The case could not commence because the magistrate is on leave," Asuman Nyonyintono, a lawyer representing Musinga's wife Esther Kyinkuhaire told New Vision.

Since September when Musinga filed for divorce, he has never stepped in court.

"Since November he has been dodging court claiming to be sick, busy on government work and other lame excuses," Kyinkuhaire said recently.

In September 2016, Musinga filed for divorce from Kyinkuhaire citing irreconcilable differences.

On December 21, last year, court granted interim custody of the couple's three children to Kyinkuhaire.
