Its evident Shoana are moving on very well from their woes last season and their impressive recovery has evoked a fresh sense of competition in the air.

As debutantes in the top tier last season, the Luweero side struggled to fit in, losing three quarters of their fixtures. It was indeed a harsh introduction for Bernard Okello and Co

However this season despite losing their opener against Sharing, they have re written the script, convincingly winning their last two games. New entrants East Cardinals Jinja were the first to fall victim the much improved Shoana.

Smashing Gayaza 10-0 in one of their previous fixtures is a clear indication of a probable bright future ahead.

"I'm pleased with how my players are willing to learn and improve their game. The commitment is high up and I hope we can maintain the consistency required going forward" said coach Okello.

Allan Kabenge is offering the team the rhythm and composure. His exploits in the MLB camp in South Africa last year have helped him grow into a better player.

Ben Sserunkuuma and Umar Male are equally impressive this season.

Nonetheless Shona must keep their play on a consistent enough basis being wary of defending Champions AVRS who are currently unbeaten.
