CAF Confederations Cup

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi feels his side can go past Al Masry in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Mutebi was reacting after KCCA was drawn against the Egyptian side in the play-off round to decide which team advances to the group stages.

"I think it's a favourable draw, but we are playing against an Egyptian side, they are always dangerous but we have enough and we have built momentum after playing these four matches," Mutebi said.

"If the players continue with that momentum, confidence, focus and belief, we shall be able to negotiate the tie," he stated.

"The Egyptian clubs of old used to play with a lot of authority, they are not that kind anymore; we believe if we play our way, we wouldn't find that resistance from them."

KCCA FC will host the first leg on April 8th at the Philip Omondi Stadium before making the trip to Egypt for the return on April 15 at Port Said Stadium.
