Vipers head coach Jorge Miguel Da Costa has praised Tumwesigye

Frank 'Zaga' Tumwesigye could be the replacement for Moses Waiswa as Vipers prepares to take on Kiboga Young in the round of 16 of the Uganda Cup on Thursday.

Waiswa who has been Vipers' key player, is away in Kenya with Uganda Cranes team for a friendly with Harambee Stars, which gives Tumwesigye a chance to feature in tomorrow's game.

The youngster who featured for Vipers as a substitute against Premio FC and Express in the Uganda Cup and league respectively will have to challenge other midfielders Keziron Kizito, Ibrahim Kayiwa and Brian Nkuubi among others to be part of the starting eleven.

Vipers head coach Jorge Miguel Da Costa also praised Tumwesigye after the club's training session ahead of the tie.

"Zaga is a very good player. He has really excited me a lot on his first day. I believe he has a place in this team and a bright future," stated Da Costa.

Holders Vipers eliminated Soana in the previous round while Kiboga ejected Thunder FC.
