Tecno's CX to target African market

Mar 14, 2017

Its predecessor, the C9, entered the Ugandan market fitted in stylish black, gold and grey finishing, impressing its buyers.

After the successful run of the Tecno Camon 9, the Chinese phones manufacturer is set to launch a more remarkable device for the African market later this month, the Tecno Camon CX.

The device, according to insider sources, comes with improvements in size, camera strength and functionality to fit the diversity and dynamics of the changing mobile phone market.

According to the sources, the Camon CX phone will be fitted with an improved 16Mp ultra-pixel camera at the back, baring a dual LED flash, making it a handy tool for use in low light photography.

This will be supported with a 13MP front facing camera, and very large sensors to capture more detail with a wider dynamic range.

The front camera is also fixed with a 120 degrees panoramic mode, giving the user enough room to capture all sides of the image.

On the flip side, the Camon CX comes with a totally different design but is bigger and sleeker than its predecessor, the Camon C9.

Its predecessor, the C9, was one of the most coveted phones in 2016, and entered the Ugandan market fitted in stylish black, gold and grey finishing, impressing its buyers.

The CX, according to sources, will be the first mobile device to run the HiOS 2.0 based on the latest Android 7 Nougat OS.

The HiOS 2.0 is an operating system for Industrial Ethernet which combines high performance with robust security that enables extensive redundancy mechanisms and diagnostic tools, especially for mobile device users.

Unlike its predecessor the C9 which bears a 5.5 inch display, the CX will come tailored in a wider 6.0 inches FHD IPS display to help users stream full HD content with ease.

For speed, the p-hone will come with a 1.5GHz octa core Mediatek MT6750T engine, a bigger improvement from the 64 bit Octa Core in the C9, to ensure smooth usability.

The 2 GB RAM is also supported by an internal micro SD card storage  with capacity of 16 GB to offer the user enough space to store as much data as possible .

As far as security is concerned, the phone is fitted with finger print sensors as well as iris scanners and an internal GPS support system for tracking it in case it is lost.

The back of the device will be packing a 3200mAh Li-Po non-removable battery that will be super charged with light speed charging technology.

It is however reportedly set to offer up to 12 hours of usage on a 20 minutes charge, making it the world's fastest charging smartphone.
