SC Villa thrashed Onduparaka 4-1 in the Uganda Premier League to move joint top with KCCA.
Emmanuel Okwi notched a hat-trick for Villa before Ambrose Kirya added the other.
Caesar Okhuti scored a consolation goal for Onduparaka in the heavy loss that leaves the West Nile side third on 33 points.
The win took them to 41 points with KCCA although KCCA has superior goal difference even though the defending champions have three games in hand.
Elsewhere, Mahad Kakooza was on target as Express beat Kirinya Jinja SS 1-0 away to register their first victory of the second round.
The Red Eagles had gone three games without a win. The narrow victory took them joint sixth with Proline and Bright Stars all on 27 points.
At the Champion Stadium in Matugga, Bright Stars played out a 1-1 draw with Saints.
