Women league champions Kawempe Muslim to play Ajax Queens

FUFA women league champions Kawempe Muslim secondary school will play in-form Ajax Queens in the FUFA Women's Cup round of 16 on Sunday.

The two sides got byes to the round of 16 together with She Corporates, Western United, Mutesa I Royal University, Gafford Ladies, UCU Lady Cardinals and Kampala Queens.

FUFA competitions manager Ali Mwebe said that the draws were done according to geographical location and the respective team's history in the FUFA Women Elite League.

Wakiso Hills have withdrawn from the Cup following a road accident involving the entire team three weeks ago. The team was going for a league match in Soroti.

Olila SS, Kakungulu Memorial, She Mak, London Stallions, Kawempe JT, Masaka SS, Alleluyah 2008 and Taggy High School went through the qualifiers and are thus the teams that will play Saturday and Sunday (March 4 and 5).
