The crew of Edward Kirumira and Mohammed Kavuma in a Subaru Impreza has promised an improved performance in the Gorillas in the Mist rally due March 3-5 in Kabale.

Kirumira who finished 22nd in the Lato Milk Mbarara rally believes the financial support from Medad Rukundo will help him solve some of his challenges and improve performance in the remaining events of the season.

"We performed badly in the Mbarara rally, but now with this support we promise an improvement," Kirumira stated.

Big zone director Rukundo said that he has supported Kirumira because of his discipline.

"I am personally a rally fan and when Kirumira who is also a personal friend approached me, I did not think twice to sponsor him," Rukundo said.

"We have bigger plans for Kirumira and very soon you will see us start to fundraise for a better car, "Rukundo explained.

Meanwhile, Arthur Blick Jr (Subaru N10), Ronald Ssebuguzi ( Evo X), Duncan Mubiru ( Evo X) have joined other top drivers including Hima Cement sponsored Ambrose Byona ( Evo IX), Musa Kabega ( Evo IX), Hassan Alwi (Subaru N14) and Omar Mayanja ( Evo X) in registering for the event. The entries close on Saturday.
