EALA race campaigns intensify

Rather than the usual methods of campaigning, the 49 nominees have decided to campaign using placards, huge posters and fliers which litter almost every part of Parliament.

As the battle for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) intensifies, the nominees have devised new means of campaigning.

The 49 are fight for 9 slots allocated to Uganda. Although the parties have already elected their representatives, Parliament will have the final say when it carries out the final elections next week on Tuesday.
