"People will not receive fair treatment in their communities if the people elected get to know that you never supported them, which may cause permanent enmity in the communities," said Kasule.

Prof. Senyonga Mugombya, the Kabaka's representative in Ntale village Kalungu said that leaders should not be chosen based on parties, but leadership skills.

The Executive Director of Human Rights Imitative, Dr. Livingstone Sewanyana said the Government should adhere to peoples' views in order to build democracy.

He cited that the Constitution has been changed many times to suit the people's will and, therefore, the Electoral Commission should reconsider the lining up method.
