SC Villa petitions FUFA over Uganda Cup game

SC Villa have petitioned the FUFA Competitions Committee claiming that Kibogo Young used two ineligible players during their Uganda Cup game last week.

SC Villa were eliminated from the knock competition 5-4 on penalties after a goalless draw in normal time.

"During the match, Kiboga Young used a contracted  SC Villa Jogoo player Brian Mugume who was signed by the club on 9th August,2016 and his contract registered with  FUFA documents registry on 18th August, 2016. This player disappeared from the club without trace and only appeared in this fixture without any formal release to register with Kibogo Young FC, making him ineligible for this fixture," SC Villa CEO, Ivan Kakembo said.
