The Uganda modeling industry has come of age. Today we have supermodels hailing from our motherland going to represent us on all sorts of international platforms.

Paul Mwesigwa who goes by the names of Paul M Bradley on social media was on Tuesday signed onto Twenty Model Management, a south African modeling agency based in Cape town that is the brains behind some of the biggest modeling campaigns in the world that include but not limited to Fendi, Gucci, DKNY,GAP-USA, Coca Cola, BMW, Dirk Bikkembergs, Levi's and Nivea.

The agency represents more than 250 male and female Models and is dedicated to helping all of the models it represents build viable and sustainable careers.

According to Joram Muzira Job, the CEO OF Joram Model Management from which Paul Bradley hails, the move is a big milestone for the Ugandan modeling industry.

Mwesigwa is the first Ugandan male model to be signed to an international modeling agency outside East Africa. “No male model in Uganda has been signed to an international agency prior to Mwesigwa. Muzira reiterates that the feat is therefore a huge step for the modeling industry especially for the male models because they now know that they are being taken seriously and the whole world is watching.''

He went on to praise Mwesigwa's personality characterizing him as a very humble and religious person, who prefers to keep to himself, a lot of the time.

Muzira further explained that if Paul does well in South Africa, he will go on to get jobs in Milan, New York and London as Twenty models is a well reputable modeling brand.

An excited Mwesigwa explained that the move is a big deal for him and thanked his mother for always supporting him.

He had this to say,' the feeling of getting signed to Twenty Model Management in Cape Town, and being Uganda’s first male model to be signed internationally is indescribable. I am so happy and excited. My body has goose bumps all the time. And the happiness on my face has been on for weeks. Getting signed to Twenty Model Management was a dream come true. Thanks a lot to my mother who has greatly supported me and everybody else including my mentors and friends,” he said.
