Four years, four championships and a whole lot of historic feats.

The City Oilers have turned the National Basketball League (NBL) into their playground and it's not clear how long it will take the opposition to change it.

As the Oilers completed their march to a historic four-peat Sunday at Lugogo, it was obvious Betway Power had no shot at stopping the team that has never lost a playoff series in their NBL lifetime.

The Oilers simply annihilated Power in the series-clinching Game 5 of the belated 2016 NBL Finals, dominating from start to finish and playing every single member on the line-up above 10 minutes.

Superstar guard Jimmy Enabu, who saw only 17 minutes, still managed to drop a game-high 15 points, level with team-mate Jonah Otim.

Kami Kabange dropped 14 points and added six rebounds in his last game for the Oilers before returning home to join Rwanda's REG. Kabange has been untouchable in the four years he's led the Oilers and without him, the conversation would be very different.

"There's no other player like him," explained Oilers general manager Mohammed Santur.

"In the four years, he's been with us, we never had an issue with him. He was a real professional and very disciplined."

Kabange came as a star. He leaves a legend.

Landry Ndikumana grabbed 10 points and nine rebounds for the Oilers, who are now one championship behind Power and two behind the Falcons' record of six. This year, Mandy Juruni's side also blitzed their way to the FIBA Zone V Championship and consequently made their bow at the FIBA Africa Clubs Champions Cup.

Joseph Ikong and Michael Kojo led Power with 13 points apiece in Game 5 as a series that initially looked close ended up in 4-1 win for the Oilers.
