The Jinja based side announced their arrival on the scene last year

Police Teargas Rangers girls rugby team assistant coach Meddy Mapesa is confident his team will emerge Victorious in Saturday's clash with Baby Panthers at Legends Rugby Club in the U-19 girls category.

The Jinja based side announced their arrival on the scene last year by thumping their opponents in friendly games and competitions organised by the Uganda women Rugby Association (UWRA).

"We are ready for the game and we have come for nothing less than a win," Mapesa stated.

"What we want is the league trophy and we are going to do our best to lift it."

According to UWRA Chairperson Helen Buteme, the league will help them build strong senior sides for the international engagements.
