Ugandan referees receive 2017 FIFA badges

Magogo said that although refereeing football standards have improved, FUFA was investigating some cases of matchfixing

Twenty-two Ugandan referees have received FIFA badges for the year 2017. The referees picked their badges from FUFA president Moses Magogo on Wednesday.

The male referees included; Brian Nsubuga, Denis Batte, Alex Muhabi, Mashood Ssali and Ali Sabilla Chelangat.

The female referees are Aisha Ssemambo, Anna Akoyi and Habiba Naigaga.

Beach Soccer referees included; Ivan Kintu Bayige, Shafic Mugerwa and Muhammed Ssenteza also received badges for 2017.

Male assistant referees Mark Ssonko, Lee Okello, Ronald Katenya, Hussein Bugembe, Musa Balikoowa and Dick Okello while Catherine Nagaddya, Marex Nakitto, Jane Mutonyi, Docus Atuhaire and Lydia Wanyama are the female assistant referees.
