Kyambogo issues transcripts on graduation day

The First Lady who doubles as the minister of Education is expected to grace the function.


Kyambogo University 13th graduation starts today with over 7,000 graduands receiving degrees and diplomas in different disciplines.

The ceremony presided over by the Chancellor of the University Prof. John Ssebuufu will run up to Friday. The First Lady who doubles as the minister of Education is expected to grace the function.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Elly Katunguka said that half of the graduands will be issued with their transcripts and others will get them after 2 weeks.

A total of 294 undergraduates will graduate with first class honors. Of the 7000, 3,280 are males while 3,126 are females.
