Timothy Odeke commended the UCU players Judith Nansobya and Rita Imanishimwe for their impressive display in game 7 of Pepsi National Basketball League best of seven series that ended on Friday evening to wrap up the Women National Basketball League championship.
The KCCA coach stated that the duo took big risks to lead Lady Canons to the championship at Lugogo.

"We did everything that we were supposed to do to win the league but I believe UCU fought well especially Rita Imanishimwe and Judith Nansobya who risked a lot for the team. In my opinion, they were the best players of the night," Odeke said.
The Lady Canons started strong, taking the lead in the first half by 20 points ahead of the KCCA Leopards.
KCCA tried to catch up but due to lack of composure they failed to reduce the deficit.
Imanishimwe scored a game high 16 points and five rebounds as she led the Mukono team to the 2016 Women Basketball League victory.
Vilma Acheing and Judith Nansobya added 13 and 10 points respectively for the defending champions.
