Sadolin 'will tame' Onduparaka in Jinja

SATURDAY'S LEAGUE FIXTURES

JMC Hippos v Express FC

Sadolin Paints FC v Onduparaka FC

Lweza  v  BUL FC

Following a hard-fought 1-1 home draw against defending champions KCCA on Wednesday, Sadolin Paints FC head coach Simon Kirumira is confident his side will build onto that with victory against visiting Onduparaka FC this weekend.

Norman Ojik cancelled out Geoffrey Sserunkuma's first half opener as Sadolin put up a bright performance against their table-leading opponents at Bugembe.

With another showdown at home due this Saturday, Kirumira believes his boys have kept the hunger in them.

And he is also backing on home advantage to brush aside a difficult opponent in the form of Arua-based Onduparaka.

"We may have started slowly against KCCA FC but as the game advanced, the players gained their tempo in the second half.

"I believe that my players have that extra energy in them to challenge any team. Of course our home crowd will cheer us well enough to tame Onduparaka who have recently been rampant against other clubs in the league," said Kirumira.

Onduparaka are yet to beat any Jinja side in the league this season.

They played out a 1-1 draw with JMC Hippos at Greenlight Stadium a few days ago while their game against Kirinya Jinja SSS ended goalless at Bugembe earlier in the season.

Kirumira will have been delighted that Ojik and Fred Kyambadde's partnership has turned things around for the Bugembe-based club. The two have scored seven goals between them.
