Rahimah Nansubuga, a 7-month-old baby girl can hardly enjoy her life due to a heart complication that calls for an urgent open heart surgery.

In May this year, she developed a cough that persisted prompting her mother, Faridah Bukirwa to seek medical treatment from a nearby clinic in vain.

"It all started when she was 5 months, the cough and vomiting persisted because she could not adhere to treatment," says Bukirwa.

She was then taken to Wandegeya Medical chambers for more check-ups where Dr. Mugalu diagnosed her with a heart defect and referred her to the Uganda Heart Institute Mulago.

Dr. Sulaiman Lubega confirmed that Nansubuga has two holes on the heart and one of the valves is blocked thus recommended an urgent operation abroad to save her life.

Through a well-wisher, Nansubuga's parents were introduced to Mr. George Ntambi of Action for Disadvantaged people (ACDIPE) in Kawempe who mobilized for medical funds for the operation at Narayana Hospital in India.

However, a balance of sh26.9 million covering hospital bills and travel, is yet to be realized by Nansubuga's mother, a cashier and the father, a teacher.

They therefore call upon good Samaritans for help through account number 200209000091 Finance Trust Bank in the names Bukirwa Faridah or Mobile Money 0701-581-387/0712-581-387.
