Ugandan side SC Villa registered their first defeat on their Asian tour, losing 2-1 to Vietnam side Da Nang.

It was the sixth game for the 16-time local league champions who are wrapping up a ten-day trip in the Far East.

For their last game, they were scheduled to play Than Quang Ninh on Tuesday, a team that Uganda Cranes midfielder Geoffrey Kizito plays for.

Villa have won three, drawn two and lost one of their friendly games played so far in Asia.

And the Ugandan side will feel it has been a trip worth it, having enjoyed convincing victories over Long An (3-1), Khanh Hoa (3-0) and Binh Duong (4-2).

Their trip will climax on Wednesday before they return home to prepare for their next league games starting early next month.

Villa, second-placed and on 24 points, trail table toppers KCCA FC by four points and are above third-placed Vipers SC by as many points in the Azam Premier League.
