Makerere Impis team manager Patrick Omoding has blamed the closure of the University for his team's 53-05 loss to Hima Cement Heathens.

"We really have been affected by the close of the University. The players that should be available to us are not because they had to travel back home. Those that can make it, can't be there all the time so we are ill prepared," he stated.

He further talked about the lack of conditioning especially in the second half where the Heathen's run away with it.

"We have had to have just one training session every week because we can't roundup all our players. We were very competitive in the first half but we lost our way in the second," Omoding said.

Omoding referred to the loss as an eye opener for the team .The season is young they can work on  a few things as they go along.

Up next for them will be the Elephants hopefully they will kick start their season.
