The tax body used the opportunity to educate the businessmen on taxation

A cross section of business people from Arua on Thursday met with Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) officials to discuss mutual ways of tax collection and remind each other of their obligations.

In the meeting held at Hill Top Hotel in Arua, traders expressed the need for more "cleaning" of the body despite largely crediting it for gross improvements in their operations.

URA also used the opportunity to educate the businessmen on taxation and to inform the traders of new changes intended to improve operations.
