Rugby beats Basketball in 'Unbwogable' challenge

Basketball meets Rugby round three took place last Thursday at Monot Bar in Bugolobi as the former dethroned the latter in a contest of strength dubbed 'Who Is Unbwogable'.

Contests in arm-wrestling, push ups, eating, drinking and dancing saw Rugby, led by Heathens and Rugby Cranes assistant captain Michael Wokorach, emerge victorious.

They topped the dancing, push ups, arm-wrestling and eating categories but lost the drinking contest.

The Rugby team picked up a trophy and cash prize worth sh500,000 from organizer Steven Okiria after winning the first edition and losing the second.

Despite being on the losing side, the Basketball team led by Power captain Joseph Ikong received three crates of Castle Lite beer just like the winners of the head-to-head contests did.
