Jinja hosts MOSAC rally

Jinja will host this year's national rally championship (NRC) MOSAC rally on November 18-20.

The rally that has Jas Mangat as defending champion will cover a competitive distance of 145km and transport distance of 138km in two days.

Drivers will use this opportunity to seal their national championship victories in the various categories which include clubman championship, two wheel drive and NRC championship.

Mangat and Hassan Alwi are the top contestants in the NRC while Leila Blick and Ismail Ortega are contesting for the two wheel drive championship title.

Clerk of the course, Shafik Matovu has promised a well organised event and appealed to drivers to observe the rules and regulations.

Peter Stone, a former navigator for 2009 NRC champion Dr.Ashraf Ahmed, appealed to organiser to have all flags available in the event.
