The High Court adjourned delivery of its ruling on a bail application by Club Guvnor murder suspect Ivan Kamyuka to Friday.

After pushing the ruling date to later this week, Judge Masalu Musene ordered that the suspect be produced on that day.

Kamyuka has been on remand at Luzira prisons for over a year following the murder of his ex-fiancée's boyfriend John Ahimbisibwe.

The two were allegedly caught up in a violent argument at the nightclub over a mystery lady, forcing Kamyuka to cut Ahimbisibwe with a bottle that led to the death of Ahimbisibwe.

Having spent a year behind bars, Kamyuka now wants to be given bail on grounds that it is his constitutional right, he has a fixed place of residence as well as substantial sureties.
