Coke Studio Africa season 4 goes on air on 8th October on Urban TV

Vision Group's Urban TV is to air the fourth season of Coke Studio Africa having successfully aired the third season.

This was announced during the official launch of the return of the flagship African show during a press conference held at the Vision Group head office on Wednesday.

“The music industry is constantly evolving and this season we take African viewers on a journey of discovery of talent and  these new talents are the ones to watch out for and we are glad to have them on Coke Studio to present new African sounds," Rodney Nzioka ,the Coca Cola brand manager.

He noted that under the theme 'Discover’, the show will bring together some of the best creative and production brains on the continent with the sole aim of creating the best music engagement platform for teens in Africa.

"During  the season, all the artists will get a chance to discover each other's music, discover new rhythm, try out new music genres, immerse themselves in other cultures and embrace diversity by performing each other 's songs" Nzioka stressed

He further noted that the show will bring together and showcase the diversity of African musical talent and will give an opportunity to upcoming artists to work with the best local and international music and production talent.

On his part, Urban TV manager Michael Owor noted that Urban TV and Vision Group in general was happy to partner with Coke Studio.

 

"Coke Studio Africa season 4 goes on air on 8th October on Urban TV at 6:30pm and we call upon all people to tune to Urban TV, to watch and enjoy the thrills of this season" he said.

Coke Studio Africa season 4 will feature artistes from Nigeria, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, Togo and Cote d'Ivoire.

Breakthrough performances  from fresh talent such as Lydia Jasmine from Uganda , Dela Maranga from Kenya, Simi from Nigeria, Feli from Ghana, Ruby from Tanzania and Sosey from French West African

Season 4 with bring in an American RnB artists Trey Songz so as to cut across borders and cultures. Chameleone, Rema Namakula, Radio and Weasel and Eddy Kenzo from Uganda, Jaguar, Sauti Sol, Kansoul and Bahati from Kenya, Stonebwoy, Efya and El from Ghana Neyma, Lizha James and Yuri da Cunha from Mozambique, Patoranking, Cynthia Morgan, Waje, Kiss Daniel and 2 Face Idibia (also known as 2baba) from Nigeria, Yamoto band, Navy Kenzo, Vanessa Mdee and Joh Makini from Tanzania these are some of the big names from Africa that will entertain the African fans.
