Raimon Okello, 24, a first-year student at Kyengera city Polytechnic Institute in Wakiso district, is troubled by the absence of the paternal side in his life.

His father died before he was born. His late mother took him to his grandmother in 1997, remarried and moved to South Africa. Unfortunately, she died there.

"I have grown up with my mother's relatives. I do not know anyone from my father's side. It hurts, as a boy, to be in this world without your father's relatives," he said.

"I yearn to meet them wherever they are. I request that they contact me. I was told some of my relatives live in Lungujja," said Okello.

Okello says according to the documents he has, his father was called Alex Max Okello, a former foreman and site manager at Jambo Limited.

When he died, his body could not be taken back to Gulu because of the war at the time, so he was burried at Kololo. Okello still lives with his maternal grandmother.
