It will be a fully packed action weekend as rugby clubs renew their rivalry in the Uganda Cup on Saturday on various grounds.

Determined to win this year's edition, Shell Rhimula Rhinos rugby team has entered the market vigorously signing experienced rugby Cranes players Mathias Ochwo, Byron Oketayot and Byron Ntale.

Ochwo, a former Rugby Cranes and Heathens Lock/Flanker brings his experience to the club and joins his former teammate Scot Oluoch who was signed early this year from Betway Kobs.

"We don't target the Uganda Cup alone but we want a competitive team throughout the season which is why we have signed top players," club Secretary Gordon Rukundo said.

"We have also signed flanker Byron Oketayot from Gulu and Byron Ntale a prop from Sadolin Mongers all on a long term basis."

Rhinos start their Uganda Cup campaign away against Uganda Christian University Mukono.
