Uganda's 2 wickets win against Kenya in the 50 overs category last friday was supposed to shade a ray of hope going forward into the tournament but as it stands, there is little to think that the cricket Cranes picked any bit of inspiration.

After losing by 31 runs against Saudi Arabia in the Four-Nation T20 Quadrangular Series on Monday, the Cricket Cranes again fell prey to Qatar on Tuesday, losing by 6 wickets at the Jaffrey's ground, Nairobi.

Uganda had set up a not safe score of 105 in the first innings of the game courtesy of Hamu Kayondo and Brian Masaba's 25 from 29 and 27 from 21 balls respectively but this was a score that would only require a mere 13 overs for Qatar to chase; they successfully chased the game, posting 108 with 13 balls to spare.

Qatar's Mohammed Rizlan struck 30 off 22 balls before he was out caught as Nouman Sarwar chipped in with 24 from 17 balls not out! And by the 13th over, it was a job well done by Qatar.

Uganda have registered just one win and have so far lost four games.
