Kabanda alleged that there was mass vote rigging and most of her votes were mistaken to be invalid by the electoral officials especially in Budde Sub County.

On Friday evening, Justice Vicent Okwanga ruled that there was no voter bribery, disfranchisement of voters and non-compliance with the electoral laws as Kabanda alleged.

At first, Kabanda petitioned the Mpigi Chief Magistrate's Court requesting for vote recount but Mirembe petitioned the High Court which stayed the exercise.
