Filbert Ocailap says all planned activities will be fulfilled accordingly regardless of the conflict between the locals and Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Katakwi RDC has assured the people of Angisa in Magoro Sub County that all government intended programs will be implemented as planned.

Filbert Ocailap says all planned activities will be fulfilled accordingly regardless of the conflict between the locals and Uganda Wildlife Authority.

Ocailap stresses the need for government to speed up the opening of the boundary between Katakwi and Nakapiripirit district to determine the border.

"The money that has been released by government to construct a primary school in Angisa is already there, so I'm only requesting the district of Katakwi to be a bit patient until government opens the border of Katakwi and Nakapiripirit. However, even when they put the school there, it is going to be shared by two communities; the community of Teso that is Katakwi and the community of Karamoja that is Nakapiripirit which I think is a very good gesture," Ocailap said

He was responding to concerns that sh72m allocated for the construction of the Primary school in Angisa would be re-allocated.

Ocailap explains that the district has only halted the construction works pending the opening of the border.
