Kyamadidi loses petition

The High Court in Mbarara delivered its judgment in the Rwampara County parliamentary election petition under tight security. 

Kyamadidi's supporters are barred from entering court.

Former area MP Vincent Mujuni Kyamadi, who dragged his successor Charles Ngabirano to court challenging his election, has lost the petition. 

Police this morning laid down barricades to all roads leading to court, keeping away many of the supporters for the two parties away from the court premises. 

The Mbarara DPC Jaffar Magyezi said the Police could not allow all people in court for fear of violence after the ruling.
