UHF releases fixtures for new handball season

Sunday at Namboole

Makerere Bulls V Kyengeza, (12pm)

Prisons Spears V Prisons Arrows (2pm)

Police Kifaru V Police Metro (4pm)

The national handball governing body has released the 2016 National Handball League fixtures.

The fixtures released by Fred Brenzi the chairman of the competitions committee reflect four men's matches that will tip off this year's season.

According to the fixtures new league entrants Makerere Bulls host Kyengera, Prisons Spears face their second side Prisons Arrows at Namboole Stadium, before Police Kifaru host Police Metro at the same venue.

Ndejje Angels will host UPDF at Ndejje University main campus in Luweero.

Barenzi when contacted about the new league format of teams traveling to different grounds said, "We wanted every team with ground to host so that teams can build home base support".

"It will also expose the sport to the communities which will later boost the handball family and also encourage teams to set up their own facilities," he added.
