Prof. Mukiibi is alive, says daughter

KAMPALA - Maria Mukiibi, the daughter of Prof. Lawrence Mukiibi, has dispelled rumors of her father's death.

She says her father, who was involved in a nasty car crash Tuesday, is alive and undergoing treatment.

Prof. Mukiibi, the proprietor of St. Lawrence Schools and Colleges, got involved in an accident near one of his schools.

This was at Nabbingo along the Kampala-Masaka highway in front of the Horizon Campus of St. Lawrence.

"He was branching from Masaka road to enter the school gate when a speeding Double Cabin rammed into his car," said Maria.

The educationist was rushed to Norvik Hospital in Kampala where he is being treated. Several well-wishers have flocked to the hospital to check on him.
