The DRC side had agreed to buy out the remaining two years of Kasirye’s contract with Rayon Sports

Ugandan Cranes striker Davis Kasirye has signed two year contract with DRC's Daring Club Motema Pembe (DCMP) from Rwanda's Rayon Sports.

The player had earlier been invited by the Kinshasa-based side over the weekend to finalize the move.

The forward was signed by Rayon Sport from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) on a three year deal but he only played for one year.

The DRC side had agreed to buy out the remaining two years of Kasirye's contract with Rayon Sports.

During his stay at Rayon Sport he managed to score 13 league goals and also guided the side to the Peace Cup title after 14 years of waiting.

Kasirye is the latest player to leave Rayon Sports after Malian Ismaila Diarra who crossed to Kenya Premier League giants AFC Leopards.

The Ugandan player earned his maiden call up to the national team earlier this year when he played almost 25 minutes of Cranes' 2-0 loss against Zimbabwe in an international friendly at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare.

Kasirye who also played for BUL and Express was unused substitute as Cranes defeated Botswana 2-1 away in the AFCON Qualifiers at Francistown Sports Complex in June.
