Uganda Martyrs Hospital Lubaga wants to recruit: Two skilled and Certified Public Accountants to work as a Senior Accountant and an Accountant, Lab Technologist, Internal Security Officer on a full time basis. The candidates should have a proven record of committed leadership and familiar with the values of Catholic Church founded institutions.

Job Specification:

Responsible for preparati on of monthly management accounts and interpreting financial information and hospital patient data to bring out variances and their causes. Providing trends in hospital operations including: costing and pricing of various services. Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

Person Specifications

a) Education Qualification
• Must possess an Honours' degree in either Commerce, Accounti ng and Finance, Economics or Business Administrati on.
• Full professional accounti ng qualifi cati on such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA.
• Must be a Member of a recognised professional accounti ng body like the Insti tute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) or equivalent.
• Qualification in Management is an added advantage.
• Computer Literacy is a must.

b) Experience and competencies
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in the accountancy profession from a reputable organisati on.
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of Internati onal Financial reporti ng standards
• Trustworthy and zealous person
• Good interpersonal skills

Job Specification:

Reconciles and monitors all hospital income in an eff ecti ve and efficient manner to ensure that all hospital dues are billed and settled. Follows up hospital debtors and ensure recovery in a timely and appropriate manner.

Purpose: To provide high quality, client centred diagnostic services and to participate in Hospital organised/ approved research and training programs.

Requirements:
• Must have bachelor's degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology/Medical laboratory sciences or equivalent.
• Must have a valid annual practi cing licence from the allied health professionals' council.
• Experience in ISO 15189 implementati on and/or GCLP desired.

• Duties: Security Supervision, Patrolling, Carrying out Investi gati ons, Recording statements, Reporti ng, Planning and advising Management on Security issues.

• Minimum Professional Requirements: "A" or "O" level with Professional Security training and Case investi gati on experience.

• Work experience and competencies: Mature with fi ve (5) years relevant working experience, Computer literate, with high degree of integrity and must be ready to handle emergency duti es. Without any criminal record.
