Blankets & Wine introduces loyalty cards

A bigger and better event has been planned for the audience.

The 13th edition of Blankets & Wine is due on July 10 at the Uganda Museum.

And as part of the preparations, the management has introduced royalty cards for its clients. Michael Kyobe, one of the organisers of the event said the aim is to make the event better every edition.   

"We are changing the game on events ticketing starting with this Blankets & Wine edition. Instead of selling printed cards, they will be selling loyalty cards that will be valued at sh100,000.

"With this card, the audience will be able to simply top up money on their cards using mobile money to buy tickets to all other house of DJs events." Kyobe said

About the preparations, Kyobe said a bigger and better event has been planned for the audience.

"We will have different engaging activities with Afri-art gallery, especially for the children.

"Our partners Uber Uganda will be making it easier for the people to get to the event with a 15000 discount for all first time users with the code "BWKLA".

Safe Boda will be there as well to transport people from the Kitante playground to the museum grounds."

A special line up has been set up for the 13th edition with Uganda's top multi-talented female sensation Mo-roots, top saxophonist Kirya Kuti, Tusker Project Fame 4 winner Davis Ntare and multilingual songbird Jackie Akello while the headline act will be Mi casa from South Africa.

Entrance is 100,000 for the adults and 20,000 for kids.

Tickets are on sale at Definition Store at Acacia Mall, Uganda wines and spirits stores, selected PayWay outlets and on mobile money.
