Lutheran World Federation (LWF)

LWF-Uganda is a country program of the larger Lutheran World Federation (LWF), a well-respected international humanitarian organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. The LWF-Uganda program has been operational in Uganda,working in humanitarian response and development. The national headquarters is based in Kampala, with an additional 5 sub-programs located throughout the country.

With funds received from UNHCR, LWF plans to carry out works described below for their Rwamwanja-Kamwenge & Adjumani offices. As such, LWF invites interested, eligible and competent firms to bid through open domestic bidding.

Interested bidders should collect bid documents starting from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm as of Thursday, July 30th, 2016 from the address and time indicated below, at a non-refundable fee of UGS; 50,000/=.

A re-fundable bank draft in form of a cheque amounting to UGS; 10,000,000/= is required on submission, for LOT 1 only. Lots must be quoted for and registered separately on submission. Bids submitted with lots combined will be rejected.

Requirements;
Valid trading License, Valid Certificate of Registration, Valid Income Tax Clearance, Certified powers of Attorney, Certified form of Directors, Bank statement for the past six months, minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in similar works, Books of accounts and Original receipt for purchase of bidding documents.

If your company has submitted the above documents, in previous similar 2016 tenders, please do not attach them again, because we already have them.

Note: Pre-bid meetings for both lots will take place on Thursday 7th July, 2016, at our LWF Rwamwanja-Kamwenge & Adjumani Offices respectively, starting 10:30am. All interested bidders MUST attend.
