Hassan Wasswa Mawanda will captain the Uganda Cranes side that will take on the Eastern regional team this Saturday during the regional tour at Mbale Stadium.

The squad heading for Eastern Uganda was named on Thursday and left Friday morning.  The team will be expected to conduct the final training session later in the evening at the stadium ahead of Saturday's game.

The Cranes has previously toured the Western, North East, Kitara, North and West Nile regions.  But Uganda Cranes suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of West Nile select-team at the Green Light Stadium, Onduparaka in Arua  in March  later this year.
