Prisons netball club coach, Imelda Nyongesa has ruled out any defeat in the Friday’s encounter against Uganda Peoples Defence force (UPDF) at Namboole Stadium.

Prisons netball club coach, Imelda Nyongesa has ruled out any defeat in the Friday's encounter against Uganda Peoples Defence force (UPDF) at Namboole Stadium.

Nyongesa said on Thursday that his team is focused to defend their title with an unbeaten run.

"We are in good shape, fit and ready to go for win," Nyongesa stated with confidence.

"We defeated KCCA 41-29 in our opening game and we are going for a bigger score win," she stressed adding that she will field her strongest squad of Stella Oyella, Florence Amono,Florence Nanyonga, Lillian Agio,Halima Nakacwa and Hadijah Nakabuye.

However, UPDF girls will look at their experienced goal shooter Annet Nakiwu and Carol Alupo to stop the Luzira side.

In the other game of the day, former champions National Insurance Corporation (NIC) will take on Police's girls while Uganda Christian University Mukono (UCU) will entertain KCCA.

KCCA are undergoing restructuring after the appointment of a new management team but is expected to deliver.

In the second division league five games are on card with Blue Stars hosting Kawempe, Welden face prisons' second side Maroon as Kamwokya side TLC will battle Nansana.
