Ali Omar wants MX2 motocross title

Omar finished first in the MX125 class and second in the MX2 class.

Motocross star Ali Omar Yasser will not be fazed by the delayed decision to award him points for the first round of the national motocross championships at Garuga.

Omar finished first in the MX125 class and second in the MX2 class. He now wants the organisers to award him the MX2 class points instead of the MX125 points.

Omar scored 60 points in the MX125 class, but got 51 in the MX2 class, but has decided to compete in the MX2 class because of the competition with Fatuh and Alistair Blick.

"I'm focused, I will take on any rider in the MX2 as I wait for the decision by the sporting commission," Omar stated.

The 85cc champion believes that he can win the MX125 class but that winning is not his priority because he wants competition.
