President Yoweri Museveni, the NRM Chairman on Thursday convened an NRM Parliamentary caucus meeting at State House Entebbe to decide on the Speaker of Parliament for the 10th Parliament.
MPs resolved to front Rebecca Kadaga as the Speaker of Parliament and Jacob Oulanyah as her deputy. The two candidates will be elected by MPs during the first sitting of the 10th Parliament.
The Chief Justice Bart Katureebe will chair the first sitting to elect the Speaker.
