Kiboga district council NRM caucus has fronted Medison Agaba as the next council speaker.

Agaba has been serving as the district vice chairperson since 201. He represents Dwaniro sub-county.

In their retreat held in Mukono, chaired by the caucus chief, Julius Gayana, on Tuesday, Agaba beat other two contenders Karunda Nsiiro Wavamuno and John Kyomya.

Agaba polled 11 votes, Nsiiro 10, while Kyomya did not get any vote.

Gayana said the caucus also backed Magaret Nabuma, the Muwanga sub-county LC5 female councilor for the deputy speaker.
