30 students today won school fees in the ongoing New Vision Win School Fees promotion. The winners were announced during the second draw at the New Vision head offices.

The promotion, which started on 21st March, is part of New Vision's activities to celebrate 30 years of success in business and ends in May.

20 winners were picked from the primary category, five from the secondary category and another five from tertiary institutions.

Joseph Lwanga, New Vision's circulation manager said that overall, the New Vision has earmarked a total of sh150m for the close to 200 winners in the three categories.

In the competition, a primary school pupil could win sh500,000, while a secondary school student could take home sh800,000 while university students stand to win sh1.2m.

New Vision editor John Kakande said that Vision Group is giving back to its readers because they have been there throughout the thirty years, even during challenges.

"It's only fair that we give back. And even after here we shall ensure better products and are currently carrying out more research to find out our readers' needs, such that we can satisfy them better," Kakande said.

To win school fees, readers simply buy a copy of New Vision and cut out a coupon provided in the paper throughout the week. The readers then fill in their details and drop the coupon at New Vision offices across the country.

"If you can't come to the new vision offices, you can give them to the agent from where you buy your paper and still your entry will come to us," Lwanga said.
