Comedian Alex Muhangi to earn 7m weekly?

Ok, this sounds a bit preposterous for a Ugandan comedian. We all know this kind of money is impossible to earn especially if you performing in Uganda.

Even Anne Kansiime who we consider our best comic act can't get it.

But after digging, we found out that Muhangi will be hosting a new show called ‘Comedy Store' that will be happening at Diners' Lounge in Bukoto and it is said the bar will have to part with about 6-7million shillings for the whole production, not Alex alone.

When we reached Muhangi, he had this to say;

"Diners created a budget and contacted me to create a weekly comedy product and host the show every Thursday, so we agreed show production would cost about 6-7 million a week.

They're up to it, and I am ready to serve my contract. I can't wait to see this new baby through; it's going to be a great platform for every comedian in East Africa to showcase their talents"
