The Uganda motocross team has intensified training ahead of the first round of FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship (FIM CAC) at the Victoria RaceWay Park Garuga on April 30, and May 1, 2016.

According to Arthur Blick Jr.,the former team captain, the riders are doing well and he is confident that they will collect maximum points for Uganda to win the first round.

The Orland brothers Alon, Aviv and Stav get instructions from American coach Daniel Sedlak

"We are doing well, the riders have responded well to the redesigned track and are just mastering the new jumps and hoops but I am confident victory is ours," Blick stated.

He also said that he will put aside his rivalry with Maxime and take the fight to Kenyan star  Shivam Vinayak in the MX1 category.

"I'm training and I am turning my gun to Shivam. It is a national fight and my fight with Maxime will be put to rest. I will focus on Shivam," Blick added during training at Garuga on Sunday.

The event will have the first heat of each category (Pee Wee, MX50, MX65, MX85, MX2 and MX1) on Saturday and then climax on Sunday with the final two heats.

Rally Sprint is meant to spice up Labour Day
